  That little cafe that could. I really struggled to review this place. It's full of love and good graces, the product is ok representing a good value range.
  
  It needs a Gordon Ramsey.
  
  So please, help this place out. It's sweet... but offer some feedback if they will be prepared to hear it. They need some honesty to get better. Not just my pleasant smiles and thought in the back of my head that I wouldn't ordinarily come back. If it doesn't get this I think it will sadly die eventually.
  
  Make this your own local, speak up.
  
  So my comments:
  
  The guy might seem a little abrasive at first and should probably let the lovely girls handle the customers, but he's a real gem and even gave me a extra espresso on the house as a token of appreciation to a fellow Long mac drinker, couldn't do enough to help me but I felt a little crowded. Coffee 7/10 pretty good second go. Need to heat glasses or use hotter milk in coffee, maybe machine temp too low. Not sure what bean they use but it lacks the super quality Freo people are now demanding as given. (Hint: try HUSH, the attic, stable hands these people do it usually well or to perfection- good well extracted espresso should almost taste like berries.
  
  Breakfast avo smash was well priced and hearty, bacon (as extra) a little dry for my liking and too much avocado for a medium sized man. Otherwise ok and good value for money, got the poached egg pretty good.
  
  The feel of the place is great, homely, full of love and would be a rocking local for anyone. Always looks empty. Other foods on offer in larder and juice bar, looks a little abandoned and lonely there.
  
  Also some fresh baked treats on the counter that looked well worth a try!
  
  I came after my lovely and also very picky girlfriend recommended it to me, so am praying for this place succeed.
  
  I think hope is fading and it needs an injection of excitement or passion.
  
  Sorry, all I can offer is my what feels like a dismal review. Two and a half stars, 3 cos they are really trying.

  Addit... ok darn it I returned and this place has won me over with love. Too soon to know about my review I'm sure as I came back the very next day as promised to try the baked sausage roll and vegetarian savoury muffin. So, immediately remembered my coffee, the shop is celebrating its 2nd birthday and I also get an extra muffin for free cos he didn't hear me right and just gave to me anyway.. oh how my words now seem relatively trivial and pretentious when they can just love you to death. Don't miss this place. Put it in on your list. If for all else.. the "abrasive" guy that runs the place. Touché. Stay up front where you may belong!
  
  Oh, and the baked goods were darn good. I guess there's the answer Gordon Ramsey.
