- Peter McCarthy Added March 02, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★Access to the submarine is currently closed, but there's heaps of other things to see. Well worth the entry fee. Good for the whole family. Wheelchair accessible, but some of the display plaques are a bit high from chair level (a trade-off like most places) but still well worth the visit.
- Michelle Cannon Added February 19, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★2021 and the Submarine is closed due to covid. However, if you ask a volunteer may be able to show you around the outside. Otherwise a good way to spend an few hours exploring the maritime history of WA. There are lots of interesting artifacts and a little bit of humor. I laugh every time I see that one upside down sheep. The facilities are also very clean and tidy. Effort is made to include child friendly activities.

The exhibits were super interesting and varied in content, the stand out for me was the submarine! Great place to explore our local historic maritime.
- Steve Barron Added February 17, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★My completely excited Grandson and I experienced an extremely interesting tour of the submarine today. Chief of Boat Gerry was completely great, allowing my wee lad the chance to 'steer' and then 'fire a torpedo'. I am mindful that sometimes the extra effort someone gives to an impressionable young person can sometimes have profound outcomes. Thanks, Chief, for your passion, knowledge and kindness today. Seriously appreciated.
- Dana Added February 11, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★We went for the Viking exhibition, which was amazing and stayed for the games and activities they put on for the kids. Always clean and well lit. Plenty of seating and amenities. Helpful friendly staff who seem to enjoy their jobs. A great place to spend the whole day.
